Yesterday I was in a great mood—after a phone call with my father.
Dad told me that Mom has begun applying moxa on her own. Ever since I returned at Qingming Festival to do bleeding therapy and cupping for her, she hasn’t complained of back or leg pain. Now, if her legs feel even slightly stiff, she picks up a moxa stick and treats herself—and the relief is immediate. She used to refuse absolutely, offering every excuse under the sun.
Because my older brother has joined me in this work, we talk about it often. He told me he now realizes how wonderful and important Dad is. Dad has begun to heed Brother’s words. Previously, whenever I mentioned wholesale inquiries for moxa floss, Dad would say, “Sell it!”—so I stopped bringing it up, since I didn’t want to sell. This time a supplier offered a large external order for moxa floss. I called Dad for his opinion—and he was unmoved: “We’re not selling—we don’t even have enough ourselves!” Haha. Hearing him say that, I knew Brother’s views had finally won Dad over. We reached an unprecedented unity and harmony.
Mom was the most stubborn in our family; now she truly understands the benefits of moxa. Coincidentally, my husband’s kidney-stone pain has been controlled by moxa combined with medication—twice with remarkable effect. They say kidney-stone pain is unbearable; moxa rescued him, and now he’s a believer.
My son has always supported me—though I haven’t invested as much time in treating him. A few clients even tried moxa at our home after seeing my mother’s transformation. I urged them to persist; after six months they were pain-free. I reminded them that summer moxa consolidates Yang so that winter will be easier—and they happily shared boxes of moxa sticks with friends.
Many once-skeptical family members have softened over time. They don’t moxa because I nag them—they do it whenever they feel discomfort. That gives me the greatest joy: with love and moxa, I no longer worry about my family’s health.
As for me, if I hadn’t embraced moxa, I couldn’t run this factory or manage the online shop. I lack physical strength but expend care and attention—sitting at my computer all day, balanced by daily self-moxa. Life and work have become one.
Now that my brother runs our retail on Taobao, I can focus on expanding into larger markets and promoting home-based moxa therapy. I’m reinventing myself and rising to new challenges. My passion and persistence give me great confidence in tomorrow and the future!
So I won’t give up recommending moxa to everyone I meet—because one day those I’ve helped will thank me.
At home, Mom and Dad now regularly receive visitors buying moxa sticks. Dad says with all the TV promotion, I no longer need to say much—people see the benefits for themselves. Moxa sticks will become a household essential, and truly high-quality moxa will always be scarce.
They once thought me a little eccentric—surrounded by smoke all day. Now they’re just like me, “eccentric” with their daily moxa. Our “abnormal” is actually normal—I’ve been fully embraced!
